Ultrasound Preventive Maintenance – Keep Your System Running At Peak Performance

ultrasound preventive maintenance

During these uncertain times of the COVID-19 pandemic, you can still rely on Ultrasound Solutions Corp. for your ultrasound preventive maintenance needs.  Whether your practice is closed or you are seeing patients on a limited basis, we can help ensure your system will continue to run at peak performance.  We take the safety of our customers and field technicians very seriously.  Our technicians are equipped with safety gear and can work with your office on limiting contact with staff.

Make sure your system is ready to go

USC’s Preventive Maintenance protocol standard contains a thorough 26 point check list that pinpoints over all system health, probe conditions, electrical safety and passes Accreditation & Joint Commission guidelines. Since USC has OEM partners, many of our check points come directly from them. This gives the end user the comfort in knowing that USC is following procedures from partners who have to report to a higher jurisdiction.

If you are seeking accreditation from the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) or from the American College of Radiology (ACR), both organizations require that ultrasound equipment be fully inspected before the submission of documents and that an ongoing preventive maintenance plan be in place to ensure quality control in the future.  As an ISO 13485:2016 certified company, USC can help you do this.

As with all major purchases, ongoing preventative maintenance is critical to extending the life of your equipment.  PM’s can help head off any major issues or system failures therefore your practice can keep running with no wasted equipment downtime.

Contact us today at 1-800-773-4582 or to set up a PM on your ultrasound system today.  USC is open during the COVID-19 pandemic and continuing to service customers.  And if you have a portable ultrasound machine, be sure to ask about our depot services.  Just ship us your portable system and our technicians will perform a PM or system repair and ship your system right back.

Free Virtual CME Event  –  Coping With The Emotional Toll Of Working In This New COVID Era

First of all, USC would like to thank the dedicated medical professionals – doctors, nurses, sonographers, administrative/support staff – for your heroic efforts on the front lines of patient care in these unprecedented times.

In light of this, we have shifted the focus of our upcoming CME course on stress management and burnout prevention and now targeted it toward this immediate COVID-19 crisis.   We will now focus on mental health and coping during COVID-19.  Our CME seminar has been revamped to help healthcare workers specifically facing the unique and potentially overwhelming anxiety, tension, and challenges created amidst this pandemic – how to get through it with more peace and calm to take care of yourself and your family, as well as show up and do what you need to do at work.

This CME event will now be FREE and done virtually via Zoom to give you the valuable information you need without having to leave home. It will take place from 7 – 8 PM on Tuesday, April 28, 2020.

Our speaker for this virtual event on mental health and coping during COVID-19 will be our original speaker, Dr. Stacey Funt.   Dr. Funt is a practicing Radiologist, national board-certified Health/Wellness Coach, and Clinical Instructor in Lifestyle Medicine at Stony Brook University Hospital. She strongly believes that self-care belongs in healthcare and she works extensively with healthcare professionals to support wellness. Through interactive workshops, grand rounds, retreats, and coaching, Dr. Funt supports value-based living, stress management techniques, positive psychology, and metacognition for optimal well-being. Dr. Funt trained at NYU and Mount Sinai Medical Centers and is the founder of Lifestyle Health, LLC.  We thank Dr. Funt for re-designing her presentation.

Please click here for the flyer for course and registration details. Pre-registration by email is required. Once you register, a link will be sent to you to join the session.

We truly hope you join us on April 28th for this much-needed event. In the meantime, thank you, again, for all that you are doing.

Take care, keep well, and stay safe!
