Ultrasound Solutions Corp. continues to be so appreciative of all healthcare workers on the frontlines of this ongoing challenge.  We want to show our gratitude by offering 2 new virtual events for free CME credits.

Wednesday, June 3rd, 2020: 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM

The first event is another Wharton’s Wednesdays on ECHO ARTIFACTS – Things You See That Aren’t There & Things You Don’t See That Are! An unavoidable consequence of the use of ultrasound is the production of artifacts. These can be manifested by creating an illusion of an object that is not really there, or masking an object that is present. 2-D and Doppler imaging each have their own unique artifacts. This presentation will serve to demonstrate and explore many of the common artifacts cardiac sonographers should be familiar with. This event has been approved for 1 SDMS CME credit. (Pre-Registration is required for this Free event)

Sonographic Assessment of Renal Transplants- Renal transplantation is the best treatment option for patients with end-stage renal disease, and is the most common type of transplant performed today. Sonography is the imaging modality of choice for evaluating renal transplants for anatomic complications, perinephric fluid collections, vascular compromise, and signs of rejection. This seminar will review anatomy of the transplanted kidney, scanning protocol, and complications that may arise. Representative normal and abnormal sonographic images will be used to describe and explain various findings.  This event has been approved for 1 SDMS CME credit. (Pre-Registration is required for this Free event)
