Ultrasound Solutions Corp. has expanded its corporate headquarters in a move that sets the stage for future growth at the company. USC essentially doubled the size of its Islandia, NY base of operations which accommodates administrative staff, sales and service personnel, warehousing and a leading-edge ultrasound system service center. The expansion created no disruption in business at USC since the move involved the acquisition of additional commercial space in the same facility in which USC currently operates.
“We couldn’t have asked for a better situation given the timing and the need to build out,” said Nat Romeo, USC President and CEO. “In our line of work, service isn’t always a nine to five routine, not when it involves vital medical equipment. So having the opportunity to double the size of our facility without having to actually relocate or delay any service cycles is a big win for everyone involved.”
Now in its 14th year, USC is an independent service organization that specializes in ultrasound system maintenance, repairs and sales. It is the only company of its kind in the New York metropolitan area that has a Depot Service Center that provides same-day turnaround on system repairs for customers in hospitals, imaging centers and radiology clinics.
