Contrast Echocardioraphy

ULTRASOUND SOLUTIONS CORP. is pleased to welcome Ian Crandall, MS, RCS, FASE, Quality and Safety Education Coordinator, from Yale New Haven’s Heart and Vascular Center Echocardiography Laboratory for an exciting discussion on the use of contrast in cardiac studies.

Description:
Echo contrast/imaging agents are a recommended tool to further identify endocardial definition and, therefore, help mitigate struggles that a Sonographer might face. This presentation will include an overview of optimization methods for imaging agents, challenges one might face while utilizing imaging agents, and how to reconcile these problems quickly. Lastly, examples will also cover off-label uses for imaging agents. (Approved for 1 SDMS CME credit)
