ULTRASOUND SOLUTIONS CORP. is proud to welcome Rick Dubin, Senior Clinical Manager for NAVIX Diagnostix, for a thorough discussion of the non-invasive assessment of Popliteal Artery Aneurysms.
Course Description:
Sonography is considered to be the ideal screening and diagnostic imaging modality to detect and give detailed information on popliteal artery aneurysms. Although more invasive techniques exist, duplex ultrasound provides a cost-effective and thorough manner for evaluating this vascular pathology. This presentation will provide an overview of the pre- and post-operative non-invasive assessment strategies for popliteal artery aneurysms. (Approved for 1 SDMS CME credit, provided one is present for the entire event)
Course Objectives:Upon completion of this educational activity, the participant will be able to:
Identify risk factors, causes, pathophysiology, and related disease processes associated with development of popliteal artery aneurysms.
Explain how the use of pre- and post-operative duplex ultrasound and physiologic assessment can be improved through operator knowledge, including scanning tips, equipment set-up, and dynamic knobology optimization.
Discuss pre- and post-operative popliteal artery aneurysm cases for a better understanding of non-invasive diagnosis parameters and potential outcomes.
State how to implement a popliteal artery aneurysm scan protocol and sub-routines, correlating with referenced criteria.

Therefore, from now on, in order to receive CME credit, you must be in attendance for the ENTIRE event via your own unique Zoom link that Zoom emailed to you when you registered. Then, and only then, will USC be able to award you any credit. So, please be prompt and attentive to the time schedule. We apologize for any inconvenience, but again, this is a new SDMS policy we must abide by. Thank you for understanding.
