ULTRASOUND SOLUTIONS CORP. is excited to present Leigh Giles-Brown, BA, MPA, JD, RDMS, RVT, Director of the Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program at Lincoln Land Community College in Springfield, Illinois, for a fascinating session on the use of artificial intelligence in sonography education.
Course Description:
There is a lot of buzz around Artificial Intelligence (AI) these days and many applications for it are being explored and used already. These revolutionary technologies are impacting health care practice and instruction. This course will explore these effects, with a focus on the ultrasound profession and sonography education programs. Included are examples of practical ways ultrasound educators can use AI to their advantage in the classroom to better prepare students for the changing workforce, while remaining vigilant about AI’s limitations. (Approved for 1 SDMS CME credit, provided one is present for the entire event)

About Our Speaker:
Leigh Giles-Brown, BA, MPA, JD, RDMS, RVT, is the Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program Director for Lincoln Land Community College in Springfield, Illinois. She has been a sonographer and ultrasound educator for 19 years and served for 6 years as the former Vice President of the International Foundation for Sonography Education and Research (IFSER). Her passion for teaching ultrasound and keeping up with transformational technologies and pedagogy inspires her presentations to audiences here in the U.S. and abroad.
This activity has been approved for 1.0 SDMS CME credit.
The CME participant roster will be reported by Ultrasound Solutions Corp. to the SDMS CME Tracker System.
Important update from the SDMS:
SDMS no longer allows its CME providers to issue Partial Credit for attendance. If you join late or leave early, the SDMS will no longer permit us to award partial pro-rated credit.
Therefore, from now on, in order to receive CME credit, you must be in attendance for the ENTIRE event via your own unique Zoom link that Zoom emailed to you when you registered. Then, and only then, will USC be able to award you any credit. So, please be prompt and attentive to the time schedule. We apologize for any inconvenience, but again, this is a new SDMS policy we must abide by. Thank you for understanding.
