ULTRASOUND SOLUTIONS CORP. is excited to welcome back Dr. PadmaLatha Gurram, Director of Perinatal Ultrasound for Catholic Health Services (Long Island, NY), for a discussion of how to recognize numerous first trimester fetal anomalies.

This presentation will discuss what is involved in a first trimester sonographic scan, as well as covering normal anatomy and some of the anomalies frequently found during this gestational period. (Approved for 1 SDMS CME credit, provided one is present for the entire event)
Course Objectives: Upon completion of this educational activity, the participant will be able to:
-
- Explain the requirements of a basic sonographic examination for a fetus at 11 to 14 weeks gestation
- Review details of the assessment of fetal anatomy between 11 and 14 weeks
- Discuss some of the anomalies that can be detected during the first trimester
