We are pleased to present sonography legend Robert De Jong, RDMS, RDCS, RVT
for Sonography of the Testicles and Scrotum.
Course Description:
This event will involve a discussion of the anatomy of the testicle and scrotum, as well as common benign and malignant pathology affecting those structures. Participants will be provided with an understanding of laboratory values associated with testicular cancer. In addition, sonographic techniques to evaluate for testicular torsion and distinguish this from inflammation will be covered. (Approved for 1 SDMS CME Credit)

About Our Speaker:
Robert De Jong, RDMS, RDCS, RVT is recently retired from The Johns Hopkins Hospital where he was the Technical Manager of the Radiology Ultrasound Division for over 28 years. To further his interest in educating the next generations of sonographers, he has published several books on sonographic scanning and patient care and has also authored chapters in multiple ultrasound textbooks.
Bob has been honored by The Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography with the Joan Baker Pioneer Award and has Fellow member status in both the SDMS and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine.
As an active committee member of the SDMS, the AIUM, and the Maryland Ultrasound Society, he involves himself in conference management, nominating committee activities, and CME organization. Bob is a frequent speaker at national and local meetings on various ultrasound topics.
This activity has been approved for 1.0 SDMS CME credit.
