Tetralogy of Fallot has been identified for many years, long before Étienne-Louis Arthur Fallot was even born. In this event, we will examine why it bears his name. We will also evaluate this cyanotic condition using echocardiography and discuss which views are needed to confirm the diagnosis. Additionally, lesions commonly associated with Tetralogy of Fallot and important to the cardiac surgeon, will be identified, as well as recognizing what the future holds for individuals after surgery.
